New message board

The much loved/derided/ignored institution that was Edinburgh Metal Scene dot com, will be closing its doors for good in the next week or so.

As the loss of the board does not mean the loss of a scene, we have begun work on building a new hub for all things Rocking in Reekie. In time the plan is to expand the site into more of a local zine format, but for the time being its a few forums for posting gigs and blethering.

The intention is that'll it be broader in focus, what with Edinburgh having quite interesting neo-folk and noise scenes, so we want to encourage a wide user base.

If you want to advertise shows, please by all means, but if you could ad in the subject what town its in, that'd be ace.
